These basic terms are descriptive. Transaction processing systems handle daily business operations; they collect and organize operational data from the activities of the corporate. Management support systems are wont to help analyze the information that’s collected and organized; they assist the manager make decisions by forecasting, generating reports, and performing other forms of analysis. Office automation systems facilitate communication between folks that use the identical operating systems through data processing, e-mail, fax machines, and other types of technologies.
